Six for the Sky / Storyboard
For the sixth loop “Six for the sky” I have an all black and white story in mind. It’s a love story but the two lovers can’t get together in the traditional way. They live though each other.
I had a really fun afternoon with my friend Charis to finally make the story loop. Thanks, Charis!
We see a huge black tree in front of a white sky (1). On top of the crown is a man and a magpie. The man carries a watering-can (2) and he’s watering the tree (3). The white water-drops scatter over the black tree like shining stars. It makes the tree look like a night sky. (4). The camera pans down the tree and we see the cross-section of the ground (5). The ground becomes a night sky and the water-drops, the tree’s roots and some white stones form a sky with star signs (6). Some of the roots that connect the stars form a swing where a woman in a white dress is sitting (7 -9). She has a growing black tree in her hands. The camera zooms in and we see the black tree in front of a white background (10-12). ∞
