Two for Joy
“Two for Joy” is a fun scene designed with fresh and bright colours and featuring a lot of characters.
–
The scene starts on a under water view. Yes Miga’s a good swimmer and diver. First we can see the colourful tentacles of a jellyfish gently floating in the blue water. With a little distance, Miga realises that the upper part of the jellyfish’s body is a princess. Or ist the princess a jellyfish? Some more distance reveals that there’s a whole group of animals swimming together with the jellyfish-queen. Zooming out further we see that this large swimming pool is part of a colourful fun fair. And just now the jellyfish princess is winning this competition. This whole scene is located on the back of a huge turtle who is swimming in blue water. Next to the turtle we see the colourful tentacles of a jellyfish. ∞
The storyboard and animatic will help to understand how this loop is working. There’s as well a few sketches of the jellyfish princess. Hopefully soon I can present the styleframes.
